† † 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its new Fast Track Firefighter Academy. The first class begins July 1 and runs through December 19. 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will meet†Monday†throughThursday†evenings at the Central Fire Station in Mount Pleasant and alternating Saturdays.†

† † The course of study will include†Firefighter I, Firefighter II, HazMat Awareness and HazMat Operations.†91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ may enroll in one or all of the classes, depending on the certifications they need to complete. Firefighter†I†and II are $610 per course and Hazmat Awareness and HazMat Operations are $100 per course.†Other program costs include PPE, uniforms, books, and physical.

† † Flexible payment plans are available and limited financial aid is available for qualifying individuals.
