
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is now accepting applications for its upcoming Firefighter Academy. The program begins January 11 and runs through June 30. †91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will meet†Monday†through Thursday†evenings at the Central Fire Station in Mount Pleasant and alternating Saturdays.â€
The course of study will include†Firefighter I, Firefighter II, HazMat Awareness and HazMat Operations. The cost for the program is $1,664 plus books and personal protective equipment. Some financial aid may be available and volunteer firefighters may be eligible for tuition and fee assistance from the Texas A&M Forest Service (HB 2604 funds).â€
