The 91成人导航 Art Department will host a new gallery exhibit October 6-30 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The exhibit, entitled Refined by Fire, will feature pottery by Karen Lowrey. Lowrey is鈥燼 potter and sculptor from Longview who creates one-of-a-kind hand made vessels. She has been a potter for over ten years and loves鈥爐o express herself as she connects with nature and the earth around her.鈥 She uses her life experiences to influence her artwork while always being in awe of the influence of fire on her clay and glazes.鈥鈥燗 reception with the artist will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. in the Whatley Foyer. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
