Dr. Jackie Johnston – Professor of Mathematics
Jackie is a proud 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ alumna with an inspiring journey. After an Honorable Discharge from the , she and her husband, Bill, relocated to East Texas. Where she attended 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ as an adult first generation college student and discovered a passion for learning and teaching, thanks to the dedicated professors.
She has an AS degree from 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ and two BS degrees in Nursing and Mathematics from . She earned an MS degree in Supervision, Curriculum, and Instruction with a minor in Mathematics, as well as an Ed.D. from .
Jackie credits her success to the caring professors at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ who instilled confidence and determination in her. Her time at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ was pivotal in building the foundation for her achievements and why she has returned to teach for us.
As if Jackie hasn’t accomplished enough in life, she is a proud mother of three successful children. She treasures her large family and enjoys the simplicity of country life, caring for chickens, cows, and their beloved dogs.
