ETCF gives $12,000 for Spring 2012 scholarships

Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Vice President for Advancement, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½), is pictured receiving a $12,000 check from Ms. Dana Durman, Program Officer, East Texas Communities Foundation (ETCF).† The funds were made available to the College by the ETCF through a planned gift from the estate of the late Burt and Nancy Marans, formerly of Pittsburg, Texas.† The gift was designated to be used to assist non-traditional students with their tuition and fees in the spring semester at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½.† For more information on this or other scholarship opportunities please contact Dr.

Bill Price commits $5,000 to the Campaign for the Whatley

Bill Price of Mount Pleasant recently committed $5,000 to benefit the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€ Campaign for the Whatley. His donation will be used to help renovate the 20-year-old Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The goal for the campaign is to raise $750,000 over the next three years. Pat Wommack contributes to Campaign for the Whatley

Pat Wommack of Lone Star recently gave $1,000 to benefit the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€ Campaign for the Whatley. This gift was made in honor of Mrs. Wommack's daughter-in-law, Kim Wommack, who is a Professor of Art and Division Director for Creative and Performing Arts at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½. The goal for the campaign is to raise $750,000 over the next three years to help update the aging performing arts facility. The Flight of the Phoenix Aviation Museum in Gilmer recently donated $1,000 to benefit the Auto Body portion of the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology program at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½.
