The Whatley Center at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will host Tapestry: The Carole King Songbookstarring Suzanne O. Davis on its stage Saturday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. The performance is sponsored by Kaye and J.T. Brison.
The president of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€™s award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Mu Chi, and the director of two Honors Northeast films, on Bo Pilgrim, and Carroll Shelby, has won the 2021 Dr. Charles B. Florio Award for distinguished leadership. Sophomore Brian Ramirez received $200, given by an anonymous donor, in memory, of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€™s longest-term president.
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will host Joni and Olivia Harms in concert on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss this talented mother-daughter duo as they bring their special brand of country western music to the stage.

Heather Brady is in her second year coaching at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½. Coach Brady serves as assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s program under Head Coach Zane Barnes.
Eighteen current and future members of Alpha Mu Chi, Phi Theta Kappa’s chapter at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ traveled to Greenwood Rising Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 7-8. The trip was paid for by funds from a Mellon Foundation Grant that the chapter received.
The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region will have the third rodeo of the 2021-2022 season in Mount Pleasant, Texas October 15th-16th. 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) will be the host of the Rodeo held at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Priefert Arena located on Greenhill Road in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Continuing Education and Corporate Training department will host a Community Health Resource Fair on Friday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center (1800 N. Jefferson Avenue, Mt. Pleasant). The free event will host more than 60 booths from area vendors and agencies focused on health and wellness.
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Honors Program is pleased to announce its Honors 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ for the 2021-2022 school year. This includes eight Presidential Scholars and 13 Honors Scholars.
College trustees, administrators and faculty established Honors Northeast in the spring of 2007. Geared to attract top high school graduates and college students, the program has flourished thanks to a network of loyal supporters in and out of the college. Each year, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ honors students have attended and presented research at the Walter Webb Society of Texas (WWS), the Great Plains Honors Council (GPHC) and the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC).
