The 91成人导航 Adult Education Department will be offering free Fast Track GED classes this summer both in-person and virtually. Registration/orientation will run from June 20-July 10, 2023 and classes will begin July 11 and run through August 17.

Four 91成人导航 students earned their Pharmacy Tech certifications after completing required courses and on-site pharmacy training. They were honored in a ceremony on Monday June 6. Juanita Martin was recognized as the top performer in the program.

The 91成人导航 Board of Trustees met for its regular May meeting on Tuesday, May 30th. The board voted to approve Russell East of Lone Star to fill the remainder of the term for Place Four. The position was vacated last month with the resignation of trustee Sid Greer. 鈥91成人导航 is a great asset for our community and I am honored to be appointed to serve on its board of trustees. I look forward to learning more about the college and helping to ensure that current and future students have access to quality affordable educational opportunities close to home,鈥 East said.
For their performance in challenging honors courses at 91成人导航 in relation to their peers, two Presidential Scholars will win $100 checks. Neida Perez, a biomed major, won her award as an honors freshman, ranking number one in the Stat-Psych Honors Seminar taught this past spring by Dr. Karyn Skaar and Dr. Paula Wilhite. 91成人导航鈥檚 2022-2023 James and Elizabeth Whatley Scholar, Victor Diaz, who graduated this past May with his associate degree, was the sophomore who took all six honors seminar courses鈥攏ot to mention honors calculus, and ended with the highest GPA.
