91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ recently held a ceremony to recognize 11 students who successfully completed the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program. Those graduating from the program included: Back row (from left) Evette Alford, instructor; Rachel Smith of Talco; Lori Tursam of Pittsburg; Billie Kealer of Pittsburg; Jessica Lewis of Naples and Kelly Brindley of Pittsburg.

The Flight of the Phoenix Aviation Museum in Gilmer recently donated $1,000 to benefit the Auto Body portion of the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology program at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½. Ken Williams (front row, second from left), Assistant Professor of Auto Body Repair, accepted the gift. The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ In Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will host a 5K Reindeer Run/Walk event on Saturday, Dec. 10. The run will be held on the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ campus and begins at 8 a.m.

Registration will be held in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ campus from 7:00-7:30 a.m. The cost to participate is $25 for all ages, and includes a t-shirt and a pancake breakfast after the run.

Theatre Northeast, the student theatre group at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, will present the classic children's Christmas comedy†The Best Christmas Pageant Ever December 3 and 4 at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

An evening performance will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and there will be a 2:05 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Dec. 4.†Ticket prices are $5 for Adults, $3 for ages 17 and under, Sr. Citizens, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Faculty and free for 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students with current ID.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will be closed Monday, Sept. 3 for the Labor Day holiday. We will resume our regular schedule and business hours on Tuesday. In case of an emergency on campus during the closure, please contact security at 903-563-1417. We hope you have a safe, fun weekend!
