Thomas and April Bliss establish 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ scholarships

Thomas and April Bliss recently presented the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Foundation with $2,000 to establish two scholarships. The Sharon Bliss Memorial scholarship is in memory of Thomas? mother,†who had a long career as a respiratory therapist.†This scholarship†will benefit a student studying health sciences at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½. The Bradyn Dawn Loy Memorial Scholarship†was established†in memory of the Mount Vernon High School student and friend of the Bliss family who passed away last year.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Golf Classic ends in a tie

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Golf Classic raised more than $7,000 for the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Foundation this year.† The tournament, held at the Daingerfield Country Club, consisted of eight six-person teams.† There was a two-way tie for first place between the Daingerfield Country Club Team and the team from Guaranty Bank and Trust. The tie breaker was settled on a score card play-off that was won by Daingerfield Country Club.

Nancy Blount recently gave $500 to establish the Velma Lee Buck Blount Williams Memorial Scholarship at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½.
