Four complete Professional Driving Academy

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Four new students recently graduated from the program. 

The four-week professional driving academy includes 160 hours of training and the cost includes the DOT physical, drug screen, MVR and CDL permit. 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ spend 50 hours in the classroom and 110 hours on the road driving. The cost is $4,500 and financial aid may be available.

Funeral Services Spotlight: George Edwards

Funeral Services Education at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is one of the college's largest and fastest-growing programs. Instruction is almost completely online, with students being placed in hands-on internships in their own communities across the country. The experience culminates with a clinical week on the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ campus prior to graduation, where students get to meet their classmates and instructors face-to-face and practice the skills they have learned.

Biology research project moves to Sabine River

Dr. Chris T. McAllister, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Biology, and two 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ independent study students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez and Dr. McAllister's son, Nikolas, traveled to near Hawkins, Texas, to survey fish parasites from the Sabine River.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) is now welcoming students to join the Eagle Senate Student Government Association (SGA) for the upcoming Fall 2025 semester.

The Eagle Senate is 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€™s official student leadership team, offering students a chance to build leadership skills, plan campus events, and connect with others across campus. All currently enrolled students are eligible to join—no elections required.

Biology department continues research project in Arkansas

Dr. Chris T. McAllister, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Biology, and two 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ independent study students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez traveled to the Ozarks at Clinton, Arkansas, July 14-18, 2025, and continued their novel research on fish parasites.  They were joined by Dr. Steve Chordas, III., from Ohio State University, an expert on true bugs (Hemiptera).
