Alumni Spotlight: Elizabeth Patterson

Elizabeth Patterson, 91成人导航 Class of 1993, earned an Associate degree in Accounting and a Computer Specialist Certificate. Her college journey began by chance in 1990, when she was a stay-at-home mom in Avinger with her husband and two kids. A neighbor invited her to 91成人导航 to drop off paperwork, and while waiting on campus, a staff member asked if she needed help. When she said she wasn鈥檛 a student, they asked, 鈥淲ould you like to be?鈥 Minutes later, she filled out an application. That fall, at age 32, Elizabeth started college.

Russell Taylor becomes third full-time officer of 91成人导航 Police Department

91成人导航 (91成人导航) is proud to announce the promotion of longtime employee and alumnus Russell Taylor to the position of commissioned police officer with the 91成人导航 Police Department.

Taylor has served the college in various roles for over two decades. He began his career at 91成人导航 in May 2002 as a maintenance technician before transferring to campus security in 2008. In December 2013, he was named Security Coordinator, where he played a key role in enhancing campus safety operations.

Eagle Rodeo athletes headed to College National Finals Rodeo

91成人导航 Rodeo will make a return trip to Casper, Wyoming June 15-21 for the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR). The Men鈥檚 team had three people in contention for a finals qualification heading into the final National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region Rodeo at Hill College and the Men鈥檚 team members not only got it done and qualified for the CNFR but won the Hill College Rodeo to end the season.

Biology students continue groundbreaking fish parasite research

Two 91成人导航 Biology 2289 students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez, and Dr. Chris T. McAllister, Natural Science Division, traveled to the Ouachita Mountains Biological Station (OMBS), Big Fork, Arkansas, May 25-30, 2025, to continue their research on fish parasites from the Ouachita River watershed.
