The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 25. In addition to action items, Dr. Ron Clinton, President, gave a report on the Community College Finance Commission.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Art Department is pleased to announce that one of its graduates, Diedra Long Camp, will present the February art exhibit in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

Camp is a watercolor and mixed media artist with a passion for telling a story and connecting to people. She was introduced to the healing qualities of art while caring for her late husband in his battle with cancer. When he passed in 2009, art became a source of healing and a past time while raising her (then) eight-year-old son, Cade.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Softball will kickoff the home games for the Spring 2022 season on Wednesday, February 2 against Cisco Junior College at 12:00pm in a double header. Head Coach Joshua Freeman returns for his sophomore season as Head Coach of the Eagle Softball program and will look to make waves in Conference play to earn a spot in the post season.

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is pleased to announce that it will kick off its 2022 events calendar on Sunday, February 13 at 2:30 p.m. with a piano concert by 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ President Dr. Ron Clinton. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for ages 17-and-under. Virtual live-streaming tickets are also available for $10. All proceeds from the concert will directly benefit the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagle Food Pantry, which provides much-needed food and other services to 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is excited to announce its new face to face tutoring schedule for Spring 2022! We have two new locations this semester that make it easier to find peer-assisted tutoring for any writing or math assignments regardless of the subject. Our tutoring labs can be found in Humanities 110 and Math/Science 112.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Athletics is pleased to partner with East Texas Broadcasting and Star 96.9 to bring you the weekly radio show with Eagle Coaches and Athletes. Tune in on Friday mornings at 8:30am on Star 96.9 FM to hear about the Eagle Sports teams from the coaches, athletes and administrators. The radio show will be starting on Friday, February 4th and run through the end of the semester.

The Women Empowering Women conference, hosted by Hope Ministries, will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Feb. 5. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature speakers Leslie James, Regina Glass, Chanda Fulgium and Sheletha Bratton. They are also accepting vendor booths to be showcased in the foyer during the event.
