After outstanding performances in the fall semester, Bekah Contreras (left), and Hope Kelly have entered the ranks of Honors Northeast, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€™s Honors Program.

Jessie Parchman, a Presidential Honors Scholar at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ and a Chapel Hill high school senior, became the first person from this region to attend the Public Leadership Education Network Conference (PLEN).  Jessie also serves as a chapter officer for 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€™s Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Alpha Mu Chi.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Career and Transfer Team will host a FAFSA Day event on Wednesday, Feb. 16. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in BT 111B. Staff will be available to assist students with completing their FAFSA application, so please bring parent(s) and student 2020 W2s and tax returns. 

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Foundation recently received a $25,000 gift from the Carroll Shelby Foundation. Aaron Shelby (left), is pictured presenting the check to Dr. Jonathan McCullough, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Executive Vice President for Advancement, at the Barrett-Jackson auction event held in Scottsdale, Arizona last week. The funds will be used to support 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€™s Carroll Shelby Automotive Program.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ of Honors Northeast took yet another festive day trip  to the Dallas metro last Friday, 28 January.  With the help of donors to Honors Northeast, especially Drs. Jim and Paula Archer, the group enjoyed many special experiences.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Rodeo is pleased to announce our first annual Rodeo alumni dinner and team fundraiser April 9, 2022 at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Arena Becky & Buddy McCollum Events Center & Pavilion.

In case of bad weather, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€™s decision to close or not will usually be made by 6 a.m. for day classes and by 3 p.m. for evening classes. If the campus is closed or classes cancelled, the official notice will be sent out via the campus Eagle Alert system* (see below) and a message will be posted on the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ homepage ().
