Time is running out to apply for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½! Applications for the 2023-2024 academic year are due on Friday, March 31st.
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ offers a two-year Associate Degree of Applied Science and upon graduation, students will be eligible to sit for the PTA licensure exam administered by Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will be closed March 13-17th for spring break. Online registration continues in the l for 2nd 8-week classes, which are scheduled to begin on Monday, March 20th. We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing break!

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ hosted the Southern Arkansas Community College Stars in softball action on March 4, 2023 and came away with two run rule victories. Game won saw the Eagles take down the Stars 10-2 and game two 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ also put up ten runs in an 10-1 win over Southern Arkansas CC.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles host Navarro College in a double header on March 5th, and the Bulldogs came away with two wins over the home team by a score of 13-0 and 9-6.
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ who will graduate high school in 2023 are invited to join the Summer Success Program at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½! This is a great opportunity for new grads to get a jump start on college and make new friends!
Eligible students who enroll in (and pay for) six hours during the first summer session will be awarded a scholarship to live on campus for free during that time. In addition to experiencing life on a college campus, participants will also be involved in special activities designed to boost their overall success rate as a college student.

Harley Jo Chaffin was selected as the Longview Orthopaedic Star Foundation student of the week for March 5th-11th. Harley Jo competes for the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Rodeo team.
A valued member of the team, Chaffin, from Ivanhoe, Texas competes in Goat tying, Ladies Breakaway and Team Roping for the Eagles. Chaffin was the 2021 Region 4 Texas High School Rodeo Champion prior to coming to 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½.
Jordan Chapin, a student at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, is one of 20 college students in the nation to be named to the prestigious All-USA Academic Team and will receive a $5,000 scholarship. More than 2,400 students were nominated for this award.
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Board of Trustees met for its regular February meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 28th at 5:30 p.m.
Dr. Ron Clinton, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ President, reported that the bill for proposed changes to the community college funding model was released this week. It is , and more information will be made clear in weeks to come as the state legislature moves forward with its work.
