Whether you are looking to train for a one-semester certificate to help you get a better job or you have plans to transfer to a university to seek a bachelor's degree (or beyond), 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is a great choice for taking the first step. 

Social Work Club

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Student Government Association recently presented its annual awards to student organizations that went above and beyond during the 2018-2019 academic year.

Jones gift

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Foundation participated in East Texas Giving Day on Tuesday, April 30. As a result of the event, the foundation raised a total of $77,517! 

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (17-31, 8-18) baseball team faced Angelina College (28-18, 14-13) in three games last weekend. 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ was unable to pick up a win in the series.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Rodeo team recently concluded the 2018-2019 regular season.

Retired teachers present check

The Morris County Retired School Employees Association conducted its April meeting at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ where they presented Dr. Jonathan McCullough, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½  Executive Vice President for Advancement, with a  $500 check to support the Work4College program.

Tree campus

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ recently received the Tree Campus USA Award from the National Arbor Day Foundation for the second year in a row.

Jordan

Louisiana State University Graduate Student, Matthew Jordan, has just won a $138,000 National Science Foundation grant for his work on electrochemical selective separations for bio-oil upgrading.  Jordan spent his freshman and sophomore years at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, 2012-2014, as an engineering major and honors student.

Sandlin gift

Joe and Sue Sandlin recently gave $4,000 to sponsor two students in the Work4College Program at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½.
