The annual 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Backyard Bash will be held Wednesday, Sept. 4 from 6-10 p.m. at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Sports Complex. The event is FREE and open to all 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students, employees and local high school juniors and seniors.
Four students at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ were among the 207 Phi Theta Kappa members named as 2019 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholars and will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day. We will resume our regular class and office schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 3. In case of an emergency on campus during the closure, please contact security at 903-563-1417.
Veterans, spouses and family members are encouraged to attend the Vets Helping Vets event at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event will be held in the Student Union Building.

Honors Northeast, the honors program of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ announces a call for poems and images that can accent or enliven our sense of the surroundings, people, the culture, and/or the history of Northeast Texas.
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Presidential Scholar, Verania Leyva-Garcia, (pictured above with Chuck Johns, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Trustee and Wanda Cockrill, Friend of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) has won the second $500 Dr. Jerry Wesson Scholarship for excellence in honors.
