Whatley Employee Enhancement Fund winners announced
Twelve 91成人导航 employees received a total of $15,473.86 in Whatley Employee Enhancement Grants for 2018. The Whatley Employee Enhancement Fund was established by James & Elizabeth Whatley specifically for 91成人导航 employees to fund special projects and enhance educational opportunities that might fall outside the regular budget.
Welcome Back Social planned
The first week of classes can be a stressful time. To help alleviate this stress, and to encourage students to meet new people, we have planned a Welcome Back Social for students, faculty and staff.

Filing for Place Three, Place Four and Place Seven on the 91成人导航 Board of Trustees will begin on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, and continues through 5 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2018. Filing applications are available from elections clerk Maria Razo in the 91成人导航 Executive Offices from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays.鈥 The deadline for filing an application will be extended to 5:00 p.m.

Adult Education accepting new GED, ESL students
The Adult Education Department at 91成人导航 is accepting new鈥燼nd returning鈥爏tudents for its GED (General Educational Development) and ESL (English as a Second Language) programs. Those interested in participating in either of these free educational programs鈥爏hould call to make an appointment for registration鈥燼nd/or testing.鈥燱hile classes are offered in various convenient locations around the area, all registration will be held at the Community Resource Center (formerly MPISD Administration Building) at鈥105鈥燦. Riddle Street in Mount Pleasant.
Representative Gary VanDeaver visits Communities In Schools
Tuesday night Communities In Schools (CIS) of Northeast Texas hosted Texas State Representative Dr. Gary VanDeaver. He toured the program?s Believes In Dreams Angel Store in Mount Vernon and met with several CIS volunteers and community鈥爉embers. He took a special interest in how CIS helps area at-risk high school seniors figure out an after-graduation plan through the CAPPED program.
