Alpha Mu Chi wins National Case Study Challenge Competition

Alpha Mu Chi, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½?s chapter of Phi Theta†Kappa, earned national acclaim as one of four chapters to win the 2018 Honors Case†Study Challenge competition. Tied to the larger Phi†Theta Kappa Honors in Action research project, the Case Study Challenge†competition gives chapter members an opportunity to focus their attention on a†specific area of study.

The challenge encourages individual members and†chapters of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society to use newspapers as a study aid and to remain aware of current events.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Agriculture program is kicking off spring in a big way by hosting a community-wide garage sale on Saturday, March 31. The event will be held at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Ag Complex (across FM 1735 from the main campus) and community members and local businesses are invited to purchase booth space for just $20. †People may also donate items to be sold to support our ag students and receive a donation slip for their items.

John and Betty Traylor sponsor Lee Greenwood concert

John and Betty Traylor recently gave $5,000 to sponsor the Lee Greenwood concert at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½. The show is Friday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are still available online at . Lee Greenwood to perform at the Whatley Center

The Whatley Center at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will host a concert by country music icon Lee Greenwood on Friday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. All tickets are $35 and are available for purchase online at†. The performance is sponsored by John and Betty Traylor.

Culinary arts plans spring dinner

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Culinary Arts Program will host a special Thursday Night Dinner on March 29th, the theme will be Hello Spring.

The menu will include yeast rolls, roasted tomato-basil soup, chicken Cordon Bleu with supreme sauce, green bean bundles, and wild rice pilaf. Dessert will be Italian cream cake with cream cheese icing.

The dinner will be held at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Culinary School in historic downtown Pittsburg and is open to the public. Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 19th.
