This past weekend, the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles softball team traveled to Beaumont for the Cross-Over Tournament. The Eagles faced six teams in the tourney, but only walked away with one win.

After dropping two games to Ranger College last weekend, the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles baseball team returned home to face TCS Post Grad Wednesday. The Eagles dominated the game, clearing a six-run shortfall with a big 10-run inning. The team cushioned their lead and secured a 22-12 victory.

The latest on the construction project

? The Student Services building is officially open again. All of student services and the business office have moved into the newly-renovated space.

?†The Testing Center will move to its new space in the Student Services building soon. Testing will be closed March 2 for the move, but will reopen March 3 in the new location.

? Continuing Education will be open in their new location in the Student Services building beginning Friday, March 3.

Honors Northeast, the honors program at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, is currently seeking applications for the 2017-2018 school year. The priority deadline is March 1 and students may apply online at ntcc.edu/honors or contact Dr.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles softball team traveled to Temple last weekend to participate in a five-game tournament. The Eagles faced San Jacinto, Temple, McLennan, Blinn and Galveston. The team fought hard, but were unable to come back home with a win.

The Lady Eagles faced three teams on Friday. In the first game versus San Jacinto, Northeast put up a good fight.

Brittany Baggett collected two hits and two RBI for the Eagles and helped put the team on the board with a double in the top of the seventh inning.

Theatre Northeast, the student theatre group of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, will present the play Thieves March 2-5 in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

The audience will join the cast for an intimate, on-stage performance of the 1974 Broadway play by Herb Gardner. The Thursday through Saturday shows will be held at 7:30 p.m.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles baseball team traveled to Ranger College this past weekend and found themselves on the losing side of a three-game series. The Eagles lost the first game 7-6 before coming back to win game two 8-2. Ranger took back the series in game three with a 7-5 win.

In game one, the Eagles tried to recover from a four-run deficit, but the late-game rally was unsuccessful.
