Vicki Lawrence to perform at the Whatley Center
Emmy Award- winning comedian Vicki Lawrence will perform at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ campus in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Her tour is titled Vicki Lawrence and Mama: A Two Woman Show and features all new material.
Beverly Kelley gives work scholarship

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) rodeo team has five members ranked in the 2014-2015 Southern Region standings after their second rodeo of the season. The team hopes to improve its place in the standings after this weekend's home rodeo at the Mount Pleasant City Arena.
Berlin natives visit with 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ German class
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ in 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½'s new German 1311 class recently had visitors from†Berlin, Germany.†Uwe and Henny Goettert are currently living in Toronto while Henny completes her degree in molecular genetics. †They were visiting in the Pittsburg area with Henny?s former host family from 2000-2001, when she was a foreign exchange student to the US.
Henny was born in East Berlin when the Berlin Wall was still standing. She was four years old when it fell in 1989.

Honors Northeast announces 2014-2015 selections
Honors Northeast, the honors program of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, is pleased to announce its class of Presidential Scholars and Honors Scholars for the 2014-2015 academic year. The group of†22†students includes one incoming valedictorian, and two salutatorians along with returning Boe, Caldwell, and Star-Award winners.
Men's soccer continues winning streak
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) Men?s Eagles Soccer team won†four†of†four†games this week., shutting out†Jacksonville College,†Paris Junior†College†and Coastal Bend College, while giving up only one goal to Laredo Community College. The Eagles are†now†ranked†fifth†in the nation according to the National Junior College Athletic Association coaches poll this week.
Free GED, ESL classes offered
The Adult Education Department at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at various locations throughout the area this fall. All students must enroll in an orientation session before beginning classes.
Seats going fast for Christmas Plano trip
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Hanson Sewell Center is planning a day trip to Plano on Saturday, December 13. The day will begin when guests board a chartered coach in Pittsburg. The trip will include a short shopping excursion to Plano's Willow Bend Shopping Mall before heading to Prestonwood Baptist Church.
