91成人导航 open Saturday, Aug. 23 for registration


91成人导航 will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 23 to assist students with registration for the Fall 鈥2014 semester. 91成人导航 will have the opportunity to meet with academic advisors, access computers to register online, make payments and receive help with financial aid.





The College Store will also be open during this time to allow students to purchase books and other supplies.

Northeast Police Academy accepting applications

The Northeast Police Academy at 91成人导航 will offer both day and evening academy options this fall. Both programs will be held in the state-of-the-art criminal justice facility on the main 91成人导航 campus.


The 17-week daytime fast-track academy will begin on August 25. Courses meet from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. This intensive program is the fastest route to becoming a certified peace officer.

Tonya Taylor gives nursing scholarships

Tonya Taylor,鈥燗ssistant Professor of Nursing at鈥91成人导航, recently gave $1,200 to the 91成人导航 Foundation to provide two scholarships for nursing students. The gift was given in memory of Margie Bragg, an 91成人导航 Nursing graduate from Mount Pleasant who worked in the field for many years. W.G. Foster, a long-time resident of Morris County, recently gave $5,000 to sponsor five鈥爏tudents in the 91成人导航 pilot Work Scholarship Program this summer. The 91成人导航 department of Continuing Education and Corporate Training recently honored 12 students who completed the spring Phlebotomy program. The 200-hour certificate in Phlebotomy prepares students for a career drawing blood in various healthcare settings. Jackie Baker gives $10,000 scholarship

Jackie Baker of Mount Pleasant recently gave $10,000 鈥爐o 91成人导航 in order to create an endowed scholarship for the Eagles baseball program. The donation is in memory of her late husband, Bob Baker, who was a long-time 91成人导航 board member and was very influential in starting the Eagles baseball program.
