91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ accepting applications for Evening Police Academy
The Northeast Police Academy at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is now accepting applications for its next evening†police academy, which begins on†Monday, Oct. 27.
The evening academy†meets from 5-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and every first and third Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.†The program will end in late May 2015.†This program is designed for working adults who may not have time to complete the daytime academy.
Building 429 to play at Whatley Center
†††Grammy nominated Christian rock group Building 429 will perform at the†91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ campus in the Whatley Center for the†Performing Arts on October 19 at 6:30 p.m. The Whatley Center is bringing†the band's†We Won't Be Shaken†Tour to Mount Pleasant.

Texas A&M scholar to speak on history of Northeast Texas

Carroll Shelby Foundation gives $25,000 for scholarships

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles Softball program will host an Alumni Game on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Eagle Field. All 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Softball alumni are invited to come enjoy friendly competition and fellowship with the current team and coaching staff. 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ to host 25th annual rodeo
†††Rodeo fans will get to see more than 300 athletes from throughout the Southern Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) compete for points and prizes next weekend as 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ its 25th annual rodeo. The event will be held October 9-11 at the Mount Pleasant City Arena on Greenhill Road.
†††Rodeo action will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 2 p.m.
Women's soccer update
†††The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) Women?s Eagles Soccer team won two of four games this past week. The Eagles defeated Western Texas College and Paris Junior College, but fell to Jacksonville College and third ranked Tyler Junior College.
†††Melanie Barnes kicked off the game against Paris on Saturday with a goal seven minutes in, assisted by Imelda Pina.
