91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Honors announces class of 2013-2014
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Honors Program is pleased to announce its Honors 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ for the 2013-2014 school year. This includes nine Presidential Scholars and nine Honors Scholars.
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ to host college night
The Annual College Night, sponsored by 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, is†set for Wednesday, Oct. 30 in the Student Union Building at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½.
Colleges and universities will have representatives on hand from 6:30-8:00 p.m. to provide admissions and financial aid information to high school†students and their parents. All students from ninth to twelfth grade and†91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students are invited to attend.
Heidi Wooten earns distance learning award

Rodeo fans will get to see more than 300 athletes from throughout the†Southern Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) compete for points and prizes this weekend as 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ its 24th annual rodeo.
MPHS junior wins 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ drawing at Titus County Fair
Congratulations to Clayton Echerd (pictured with Alex Ortega) for winning the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ drawing for a Nexus 7 tablet at the Titus County Fair. Clayton is a junior at Mount Pleasant High School who plans to attend the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ culinary program after graduation. Many thanks to the students, faculty and staff members who helped out at the college fair booth.
The Bronx Wanderers to perform at Whatley Center
The Bronx Wanderers are "One Part Oldies, Two Parts Rock N? Roll" and they are headed to northeast Texas to shake up the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts! The group will perform on the campus of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ on†Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Culinary Arts Buffet Oct. 3
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Culinary Arts Program will host the second of three special Buffet Nights this Thursday at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Culinary Institute (?Our Place?) in historic downtown Pittsburg.
Dinners †are open to the public and will be held†from 6:00-7:30 p.m.†on October 3 and October 17. Seating is restaurant-style and to-go orders will be available by calling ahead to†903-434-8333†The cost is $10 per person.

It's time to put on your best Halloween costume, dust off your trick-or-treat basket and head out to 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ for the†26th†annual Scare Affair.
The event is from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct.†19th†on the plaza of the main 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ campus (located on FM 1735 near Chapel Hill ISD). There will be free candy for all trick-or-treaters, low-cost games for all ages, a costume contest with cash prizes and much more! A haunted house will be open until 10:30 p.m.

Wilson gives $10,000 to fund 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ scholarship
Mr. Gilbert Wilson (left), of Pittsburg, recently gave $10,000 to the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Foundation. Dr. Jonathan McCullough (right), 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Vice President for Advancement, is pictured receiving the donation. The gift will fund the Wilson Family Scholarship, which is named in memory of Mr. Wilson's parents. The perpetual scholarship will provide deserving 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students with one $500 scholarship each year.
