Eagles Baseball picks up three wins against Pratt
††††The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) Eagles baseball team secured†their first win of the season on Saturday against the Pratt Community†College Beavers. The Eagles and the Beavers squared off for two†doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday and the Eagles won three of the four†games played this weekend.
††††91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ took an early lead in the second inning of the first game and went on†to pick up a shutout, 3-0, win over the Beavers.
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ holds reception for Bill Priefert
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ celebrated the service of Bill Priefert, a long-time member of the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ board of Trustees, with a retirement reception on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Priefert, of Mount Pleasant, recently retired from the board after 11 years of service. Stone sculptures on display at Whatley Center
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ art department is currently hosting an art exhibit by stone sculptor Stacy Deslatte of Longview. The display, which runs through March 7, is featured in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ campus. The exhibit is open free to the public during regular business hours. ††††Alpha Mu Chi, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½?s chapter of Phi Theta†Kappa, earned national acclaim as one of four chapters to win the 2013 Honors Case†Study Challenge competition sponsored by USA Today. Eagles Softball sweeps season opener
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) Eagles Softball team swept the Weatherford College Lady Cougars in their season-opening doubleheader Friday.
The Eagles were up 3-1 at the top of the second inning, but gave away five runs before the inning was finished.

Eagles Baseball kicks off spring season
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) Eagles Baseball program is off to a rocky start after losing its season openers Friday and Saturday to Hill College and Cedar Valley Community College in non-conference play.
According to Assistant Coach Shane Wedd, Friday's game was the first chance that many of the players had to play in a regular season game and, despite these early setbacks, he is optimistic about the team's potential this season.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Culinary Arts Program will host three special Buffet Nights on Thursdays this Spring. These will be held at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Culinary School in historic downtown Pittsburg and are open to the public.
