91成人导航 students participate in disaster training
鈥 鈥 鈥91成人导航 and faculty members from the 91成人导航 LVN Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, and Medical Assisting programs recently got hands-on, real world training as they participated in a disaster preparation exercise in Atlanta, Texas. The full-scale, 72-hour exercise was directed by Homeland Security and in conjunction with the ArkTex Council of Governments.
鈥 鈥 鈥燭he goal of the event was to give members of disaster teams, including first responders, a chance to find out how to function in a crisis situation.

Pepsi gives $15,000 to 91成人导航
Pepsi recently made a $15,000 contribution to 91成人导航. The funds were designated to benefit the 91成人导航 Eagles Athletic program. Ms. Beth Thompson (right), 91成人导航 Vice President for Administrative Services, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, 91成人导航 Vice President for Advancement, received the gift on the college's behalf.

91成人导航 Reindeer Run 5k scheduled for Dec. 7
The SIFE/Enactus Club of 91成人导航 will host the Fourth Annual Reindeer 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 8 a.m. The run will be held on the 91成人导航 campus and there is no entry fee for participants.

Five students recently completed the fire鈥燼cademy at 91成人导航. They were honored during a鈥爂raduation ceremony held in the Student Union Building. The鈥爂raduates are pictured (from left):鈥燗aron Nugent of Winnsboro, Matthew Hernandez of Mount Pleasant, Fenton Godfrey of Mount Pleasant, Wesley Kizer of Pittsburg, and Colter Antonsen of Ridgecrest, California. These students are now eligible to鈥爐ake the Texas Commission on Fire Protection Exam to complete certification.鈥91成人导航 is currently enrolling students for the 2014 Fire Academy.
