91成人导航 who live in 91成人导航 Residential Housing were treated to "Sundaes on Sunday" last weekend. Ian Albertson, 91成人导航 Director of Residential Life, hosted the event in the lobby of Housing West. This was one of several fun events held for residents throughout the semester. 91成人导航 is currently accepting housing applications for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Ag Club will be hosting its annual spring plant sale on May 4th so you can go forth and garden and grow your own vegetables! We have a very large number and variety of tomato plants this year, a few peppers, aloe vera and some herbs to share. Don鈥檛 miss this opportunity to get your garden growing!
91成人导航 is pleased to announce that Neida Perez was selected for two prestigious honors at the American Association of Community Colleges鈥 (AACC) annual convention in Louisville, KY earlier this month. She was one of just 20 college students named to the prestigious 2024 All-USA Academic Team and she was also named a 2024 New Century Transfer Scholar. Perez was selected from more than 2,200 nominees to receive the $5,000 All-USA Academic Team Prize and the $2,250 New Century Transfer Scholarship.
Communities In Schools (CIS) Northeast Texas held its annual CAPPED event at 91成人导航 on Wednesday, April 17th. About 275 seniors from area high schools spent a half-day touring campus and learning about the programs and opportunities available at 91成人导航. Schools that participated include: Chapel Hill, Clarksville, Daingerfield, Harts Bluff, Mount Pleasant, Mount Vernon, Pewitt, Pittsburg, Rivercrest and Sulphur Springs.
The 91成人导航 Foundation held its annual business meeting on Tuesday, April 16th in the Community Room on the 91成人导航 campus. This is the one time each year that the Foundation Board gathers to address actions item and hear reports from various departments and subcommittees.
The 91成人导航 Biology Department is pleased to announce that it was recently represented at the Southwestern Association of Parasitologists (SWAP) conference.
Dr. Chris McAllister (91成人导航 Biology) and two 91成人导航 biology independent study students, George Burrows and Michael Rodriguez, attended the 57th annual meeting of the SWAP at the West Bay Resort, Kingston, Oklahoma, April 11-13, 2024. The students each gave a presentation and Dr. McAllister gave two presentations.
The 91成人导航 Art Department recently announced the winners of its annual Student Art Exhibit. Student work is on display in the Whatley Center foyer through the end of April.
