91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Baseball returned home on Saturday after a series of weather-related cancellations to take on the Panola Ponies in a conference matchup. While the weather was great, the day would not go the Eagles way as Panola defeated 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ 6-2 in game one and 9-3 in game two to get the series sweep.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½â€™s Business department provides flexible learning opportunities through various delivery methods. Small face-to-face courses that observe all safety protocols provide enhanced learning environments with plenty of individual support from instructors. Below is the full schedule of business courses being offered for spring 2nd 8-weeks:
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Honors Program will host a premiere of its ninth feature-length student film on Friday, March 26 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room (Humanities 129). This year’s film, PILGRIMage, a Story aBOut Northeast Texas, examines the story of Bo Pilgrim, the controversial founder of Pilgrim’s Pride. Was he a philanthropist who created jobs and boosted the economy of Northeast Texas?
The University of Texas - Tyler will be at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ on Wednesday, March 10 to assist students who are interested in transferring to UT-Tyler. Emily Gora, recruiter, will be in the Career and Transfer Center (BT 111B) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist with applications, accept transcripts and waive the $60 university application fee.
Texas A&M University-Texarkana is offering two special promotions for 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students who plan to transfer to their institution. Their Gold Ticket waives the application fee for those applying for Summer/Fall 2021 during the month of March. It's a great time to get your application in and save some money.

Hilda Rodriguez was recently named the winner of the 2021 Chitsey Award, granted each year to the student of Honors Northeast who after their first semester, most exceeded expectations. The award comes with a $200 check.
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles Softball team will host a free softball camp on April 3. The event, which is open to kids of all ages, will be held at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ softball field at 5:30 p.m. after their home game against Paris Junior College.
This is a great opportunity for young softball players to hang out with the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ players and coaches and have a fun hour to sharpen their softball skills.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced Tuesday that the statewide mask mandate is ending. In response, 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is awaiting further guidance from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) in regards to specific health and safety recommendations for colleges going forward.
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Art Department will host the Mount Pleasant Art Society Annual Membership Show March 8-26 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The competitive show features artwork from a variety of local artists. A reception will be held Saturday, March 6 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center Foyer. The gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. However, it will be closed March 15-19 for spring break. Masks and social distancing are required while enjoying the exhibit.
