Hernandez wins Britt Award of the Great Plains Honors Council

For the ninth time since the awards began in 2015, an 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ scholar has won a $100 Britt Award of the Great Plains Honors Council.  Stephanie Hernandez, a first-year Presidential Scholar from Mount Pleasant, bested all other competitors in the humanities poster division for freshmen and sophomores at the meeting of the Great Plains Honors Council (GPHC).  The awards were announced at the closing banquet of the 7-9 March meeting in Denton, Texas.

Apply now for the International Sulphur Transfer Scholarship

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students who will graduate in May 2025 and plan to transfer to a four-year university this fall are encouraged to apply for the International Sulphur Transfer Scholarship. Seven recipients will receive $1,500 each. This scholarship is designated for eligible students who have a minimum 3.0 GPA and are completing their 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ studies this spring.

The Barber Instructor at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will be responsible for teaching barbering techniques, theory, and practical skills to students, preparing them for licensure and successful careers in the barbering industry. This role requires a passion for education, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to fostering student success in a dynamic learning environment.

Dual Credit Adjunct Faculty - Agriculture

This position will teach assigned, college-level Agriculture courses embedded at a designated high school in 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½'s service delivery area.

Experience and Other Qualifications Required:

  • Master's degree in Agriculture or Master's degree + 18 graduate hours in Agriculture required.
  • At least 5 years industry experience and post-secondary teaching experience preferred.
