The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles men's soccer team is headed to Daytona, Florida to play in the NJCAA National Tournament. The seeding for the tournament was released Wednesday with the Eagles seeded #8 in the tournament. The Eagles will be in Pool A along with #1 seed Pima and #12 seed Muskegon College. First game for the Eagles will be Tuesday November 13^that 9:30 AM against Muskegon College.

This past Friday the men’s team traveled to take on LSUE in the South District Final game. The Eagles were able to come out with the 3-1 win and punch their ticket to the NJCAA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT!! This is the first time since 2014 that the men’s soccer team has made it to Nationals. The team will be traveling to Daytona, Florida to participate in the 2018 NJCAA Division 1 Soccer National Tournament taking place November 12th-17th. Submitted by: René McCracken, Ag Director If you have survived October fall festivals and events then you are headlong into a thankful harvest in Texas.  The college garden was no exception to homeowners garden in having a better fall harvest than we did this past dry spring and summer.  Garden clean-up and winter preparations are in full swing in hopes of getting all our tasks completed before the first freeze, typically around November 15^th.  With all the business of a working mom with active teenage daughters, the last thing I want to worry about it what my Thanksgiving

Quilts created by local quilters will hang in the Whatley Center foyer in what is now an annual tradition for the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ art department.  For the third consecutive year, quilters bring their treasured art to share with the community. The exhibit runs from Wednesday, Nov. 7 through Monday, Nov. 26. A reception is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 15 at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer, and refreshments will be served.

The Office of Student Activities, Student Government Association, Social Work Club and The Wesley Fellowship Center are partnering together to host a campus-wide food drive to support The Eagle Pantry. The food drive will be October 29-December 6, 2018. The Eagle Pantry is a new resource on campus that educates, feeds, and comforts students who need a helping hand during rough times.
