Jackson finishes 10th at CNFR
†††Dustin Jackson, a team roping header from 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, finished the 2011-2012 season at 10th in the nation last week at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, Wyoming.
†††Jackson was partnered with heeler Corey Hendrick of Wharton County Junior College. The team missed their final steer in the short round, dashing their hopes of a higher finish.

Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery give $5,000 for Whatley Campaign
Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery of Mount Vernon recently pledged $5,000 to benefit the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Campaign for the Whatley. Their gift will be used to help make much-needed renovations to the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

Like many young people, Curtis Ivory dropped out of Pittsburg High School in 1996 with the best of intentions. His girlfriend (now wife) was pregnant with their first child and it was up to him to get a job to support his growing family.

††††Car enthusiasts from near and far gathered at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ (91³ÉÈ˵¼º½) Wednesday night to say goodbye to automotive legend Carroll Shelby.
††††The event was hosted by 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ in conjunction with Team Shelby Texas. The evening began with car lovers gathering on the north side of Mount Pleasant for a memorial run.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ signs articulation agreement with A&M-Texarkana
Representatives from 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ and Texas A&M University-Texarkana recently met at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ campus to sign a Reciprocal Articulation Agreement that will assure continued local access by 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students to Texas A&M-Texarkana degrees.
