91成人导航 receives $4,000 TASB grant
91成人导航 has been awarded a loss prevention grant of $4,000 from the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Risk Management Fund. Grant monies help implement loss prevention and safety initiatives to raise awareness of safety issues and reduce potential for property losses and on-the-job injuries.
91成人导航 to host, compete in Region XIV Baseball Tourney
91成人导航 will host the NJCAA Region XIV Baseball Tournament May 12-16 at Eagle Field. The top eight teams from Region XIV will compete for the chance to play in the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction Colorado later this summer.
The 91成人导航 Eagles enter the tournament as the top seed in the Eastern Zone of the region with a 26-10 record. The Navarro College Bulldogs earned the second spot in the zone with a 24-12 record.

91成人导航 Ag students design flower beds at Hanson-Sewell Center
91成人导航 Sustainable Agriculture students recently participated in a hands-on project at the 91成人导航 Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg.鈥犫燯nder the guidance of Assistant Professor, Chris Oefinger, the students were assigned the task of redesigning the flower bed at the center. A landscaping plan was selected from those submitted by students. The next task included, cleaning the bed, preparing the soil, planting, and replacing the weed guard and mulch.

The fifth-annual McGraw Hill Poster Contest was held on April 27 at the鈥燱hatley Center for the Performing Arts at鈥91成人导航.
This competition gives 91成人导航 students and local high school seniors an opportunity to present their unique ideas and research.
91成人导航 Adult Education to hold GED commencement
The 91成人导航 Adult Education program will hold its annual commencement ceremony for students who received their General Education Development鈥(GED) diploma during the 2011-2012 school year on Thursday, May 10. The ceremony will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the 91成人导航 campus at 7 p.m. Family and friends of graduates are encouraged to attend.
May 8 Reception to honor McCallum
91成人导航 will host a reception for Latrel McCallum on Tuesday, May 8 from 12-1 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts foyer. The event will鈥爃onor鈥燤cCallum's 14 loyal years of service as a member of the 91成人导航 Board of Trustees.鈥 She retired from the board in April.

Bryan Hughes meet and greet planned for May 3
91成人导航, the Mount Pleasant-Titus County Chamber of Commerce and the Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce invite the public to attend a meet and greet to introduce your new state representative, Bryan Hughes.
The event is free and will be held on Thursday, May 3 from 12-1 p.m. at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the 91成人导航 campus. Remarks will be at 12:30 p.m.
