Chaz Curtis is keeping a promise to his college professors. He's taking what he learned at 91���˵��� and successfully applying it to the business world.

The 91���˵��� alumnus is the office manager at Super 1 Foods and is on track to become a funeral director in Mount Pleasant. Curtis earned an associate's degree in Business Administration in 2012 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree on the same campus through 91���˵���'s partnership with Texas A&M Texarkana.

91���˵��� offices will be closed and classes will not meet Wednesday, Nov. 25 through Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Dr. Melissa Fulgham, 91���˵��� Associate Professor of History and Division Chair of Social Sciences, was recently chosen to serve as a 2016 Phi Theta Kappa Faculty Scholar.†Fulgham†was among only 30 Phi Theta†Kappa advisors globally†chosen for this honor. The scholars were selected through a rigorous application process based on knowledge of the 2015/2016 Honors Study Topic,†How The World Works: Global Perspectives, and demonstrated excellence in†teaching or administration.

Theatre Northeast will present the new children?s classic play,†Gooney Bird Greene and Her True Life Adventures†December 5 at 7:30 p.m. and December 6 at 2:05 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the 91���˵��� campus.
