91成人导航 and Texas A&M University-Texarkana officials signed a dual admissions agreement today at 91成人导航, formalizing a partnership benefitting students who wish to attain baccalaureate degrees. Officials also signed a financial aid consortium allowing 91成人导航 and A&M-Texarkana students to be concurrently enrolled without disruption to their financial aid award.

Texas Pioneer Foundation supports 91成人导航 Work Scholarship Program

The Texas Pioneer Foundation recently awarded a $40,000 grant to support the Work Scholarship Program at 91成人导航. The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) recently announced that the 91成人导航 Eagles Softball team ranked third in the nation for team grade point average. The team held a 3.52 GPA for the 2014-2015 school year.


Head softball coach, Jessica Keith, said that academics are always a priority for her team.

Cinco de Mayo on the Square raises $10,000 for 91成人导航 scholarships

ALAS (Amigos Latinos Al Servicio) of Mount Pleasant recently presented a check for $10,000 to the 91成人导航 Foundation. The funds were used to create a perpetual $500 scholarship to be awarded to a first generation college student attending 91成人导航.


The money for the scholarship was raised at the first annual ALAS Cinco de Mayo on the Square event that was held May 2 downtown Mount Pleasant.

91成人导航 ranked among top 10 Texas community colleges

鈥 鈥 鈥91成人导航 learned last week that it has been named one of the top ten community colleges in Texas by the website schools.com. 91成人导航 was ranked number eight on the list, which cited 鈥爐he college's low student-to-faculty ratio, on-campus housing and availability of an on-campus bachelor's degree partnership with Texas A&M-Texarakana as factors that set it apart from other schools.


鈥 鈥 鈥91成人导航 was the only east Texas school included on the list.

91成人导航 active shooter drill planned for Friday

91成人导航, in cooperation with local emergency officials, will host an active shooter drill Friday, June 19 from 8:30 am. until early afternoon on the main 91成人导航 campus. The purpose of the event is to simulate a real-life emergency in order to train both college personnel and first responders.


In addition to the 91成人导航 campus, Chapel Hill ISD facilities will be used as a staging area during the exercise.
