Over the past few months, 91���˵���?s Carroll Shelby Automotive Program partnered with Dallas attorney Rob Miller to transform a 1965 Mustang to a race car that is set to be driven in the 2015 La Carrera Panamericana Race in Mexico starting on Oct. 16.

Thanks to the Friends of Honors Northeast, 91���˵��� Honors students and professors were able to take their eighth annual cultural fall trip to Dallas/Fort Worth September 18.

Scott Wilhite, a student at 91���˵���, has been selected by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society to receive a $1,500 scholarship as the 2015 Dr. Mary Hood Texas Region Scholar.

A father of three children, Wilhite enrolled in college after being laid off from his job. A political science major, he earned a 3.92 grade point average at 91���˵��� and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In addition to his work within the chapter, Wilhite took on a role coordinating a work scholarship program for 91���˵���†this summer.
