The 91成人导航 Foundation held its 2022 Scholarship Brunch on Friday, Nov. 19th in the Student Union Building. This was the first time since the beginning of the pandemic that 91成人导航 was able to host the annual event.
Last week Dr. Paula Wilhite, 91成人导航 Professor of Mathematics/Division Chair for Math, Physics and Engineering, presented 鈥淭he Beauty of Mathematics in Beethoven鈥檚 Compositions鈥 at the annual conference of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) in Toronto, Canada. Included in her presentation was the beauty of the patterns of mathematics in Ludwig Beethoven鈥檚 classical and romantic styles of musical works that may explain how his creativity appeared unaffected by his tragic deafness.

The Northeast Texas Community College Eagle newspaper staff brought home 22 awards in several print, video and photography categories at the Texas Community College Journalism Association, TCCJA, this past weekend.

The 91成人导航 Theatre Department will present Almost, Maine on the stage of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts December 1st-3rd. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. nightly and there will also be a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Dec. 3rd.
The play, written by John Cariani, is directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, 91成人导航 Associate Professor of Theatre. The cast and crew include 91成人导航 students, staff, local community members, and Eric Staples, theatre instructor at Chapel Hill ISD.
Come join the 91成人导航 Culinary Arts Departments Fall Fundraiser on November 30th at 6:00 p.m. at the Culinary Arts school in downtown Pittsburg. The catering class will be organizing this event with some help from other classes as well. Take-out will be available, but please e-mail orders ahead of time to Ana Perry (aperry@ntcc.edu). Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the Hansen Sewell Center during regular business hours. The cutoff date for tickets/preorder is November 28th. Seating is limited.
The 91成人导航 Nursing Program will begin accepting applications for the 2023-2024 academic year on Friday, Nov. 18th. Applications for the Associate Traditional Nursing (RN), Vocational Nursing (VN) and VN/Paramedic Transition to RN programs all open at the same time.
