SGA gives report at April board meeting
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Student Government Association (SGA) gave a report to the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Board of Trustees on Tuesday night. SGA President John Herron addressed the board regarding their recent trip to the state SGA convention in Austin. The group revealed plans to support The Wounded Warrior project, promote graduation at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ and to assist fellow students with voter registration.

Theatre Northeast to perform 12 Angry Jurors
Theatre Northeast will present the tense courtroom drama†Twelve Angry Jurors †in the Studio Theatre of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½. The show will run†April 26-28 at 7:30 p.m. and April 29 at 2:05 p.m.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Honors Program will host the 4th annual McGraw-Hill Poster Contest on Friday, April 27 at 9:30 a.m. in the Whatley Center foyer. The event is funded by McGraw-Hill companies.
Full-time students at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, as well as seniors from area high schools, are welcome to compete.
Eagles soccer to hold open tryout
The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles soccer program will hold open tryouts for both the men?s and women?s teams on Saturday, April 28. Women?s tryouts are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and men?s tryouts are from 1-3 p.m. on the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ soccer field. Campus tours will follow. McCallum announces retirement from 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Board
Latrel McCallum announced her retirement from the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Board of Trustees Tuesday evening.†In her letter to Board Chair Dr. Dan McCauley she expressed her pleasure to have served 14 years and pride in the many accomplishments achieved across that time.

The faculty of 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will host the 20th Annual Student Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The purpose of this banquet is to recognize student achievement by honoring outstanding students and alumni.
91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ are nominated for awards by faculty members in four categories. The President's Academic Excellence Award is given to students who excel academically.
