The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles baseball and softball teams will host a special Ks for Kids Day at the ballpark on Saturday, Feb. 18.

The day will begin with a free kids camp at 10 a.m., followed by home doubleheaders for 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ baseball and softball. In addition to offering a day of fun for the whole family, this event will mark the official kickoff of the Ks for Kids campaign, which will raise funds for the Women and Children's Center at Titus Regional Medical Center.

The Masters of Motown concert that will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, Feb. 16 is sponsored by Cypress Bank. Pictured is B. 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will recognize Black History Month with two separate events during February.

The Brother To Brother Organization will host the "Outspoken African American History" program as a way to pay tribute to African American heroes throughout history.

The event will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on February 22 from noon to 1 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Helen Hampton of Naples recently gave $20,000 to benefit the Campaign for the Whatley at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½. The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Industrial Technology Program recently held a graduation celebration for the first class of students to complete the level 1 certificate in the new program. The Eagles split another double-header Wednesday as they took on Grayson County College in Dennison.

After suffering an 8-0 loss in the opening game of the day, the Eagles bounced back with a 3-2 victory in the second contest.

Christina Martin helped lead 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ to victory in the second game as she was 2-3 at the plate while Katie Holcomb and Hannah Holovach both had a hit and each scored a run in the win.

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ will present speaker Justin Jones-Fosu for "ACT Responsibly: The Diversity Edition" on Monday, February 20 from noon to 1 p.m. in Student Union Building room 101.

The Eagles softball team used a resilient effort to pick up its first win of the season Friday afternoon, bouncing back from a 10-1 loss in first game of a double-header to earn a 4-3 victory over visiting North Central Texas College.

Victory did not come easy, though, as the Eagles had to hold off a late charge from the Lady Lions to pick up the win. 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ led 4-0 heading into the seventh inning only to see the Lady Lions score three runs to cut the deficit to a single run.
