Two 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ students receive national scholarship honors

Two 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Presidential Scholars were recently awarded national scholarships through the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Jessica Rogers and Isaac Griffin were named 2012 Coca-Cola Gold Scholars and will each receive a $1,500 scholarship.

Shelby Automotive department to host car and bike show



The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Carroll Shelby Automotive Club will host a Car and Bike Show on Satuday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All makes and models are welcome and People's Choice awards will be given.




Registration is $20 per vehicle. People's Choice classes include: Shelby, Modern, Classic, Truck, Bike, and Miscellaneous (ATVs, etc.). Winners will receive plaques. †A Best of Show award will also be given. The event is free for the general public.

Soccer tryouts rescheduled for April 14

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles soccer program will hold tryouts for both the men?s and women?s teams on Saturday, April 14. Women?s tryouts are at 11 a.m. and the men?s tryout is at 1 p.m. on the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ soccer field. Campus tours will follow. Ray Price to perform at Whatley Center on April 14

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ rodeo looks to nationals as season winds down

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ men?s rodeo team won third overall at the Texas A&M Kingsville Rodeo two weeks ago, adding another 150 points to their region standings. Those extra points helped the Eagles? ride up to the top when it comes to making the finals.

Dustin Jackson lit up the scoreboard taking home third place in the all-around men?s division.

The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ Eagles baseball team sits one game behind defending national champion Navarro College in the Region XIV Eastern Conference standing after going 5-1 last week.

The Eagles currently stand 17-8 on the season and 11-5 in conference play after sweeping Central Lakes College and Texarkana College and splitting a double header with Bossier Parish last week.

Eagles softball wins a pair, drops four

The Eagles softball squad picked up their first two conference wins of the season against Lon Morris last week before dropping double headers to Trinity Valley and UT Tyler.

The Eagles wasted no time taking a big lead against Lon Morris in the opening game of their double header as 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ scored four runs in the bottom of the opening inning. Erica Graham brought in the first run with an RBI single to left and Christina Martin brought in two more runs with a single to center moments later.
